Hole One:  117/128  metres – Penguin Green

A short par three with a very narrow, quite long green. The ocean is close on the left and long, bushy hillside on the right. Short is good is as the green is only eight metres wide at the back. Be careful to avoid the gum tree above and on the right near the tee. This is tough opening hole, historically over 50% of opening tee shots finish up on the beach or up the hill. If you are lucky your playing partners will also finish up in strife and you will agree to a mulligan and live again.
